The mind never becomes tired, but sometimes it becomes bored with the “food” it gets. 🤔
Computer experts use the acronym GIGO – garbage in, garbage out- to illustrate the fact that the computer can process only the information it is given. The same is true with your mind. If you feed it healthful, nourishing “food”, it will grow strong and agile, but if your restrict it to a regular diet of mental “junk food”, your mind will become unhealthy, negative and unproductive. It will return to you what you put into it. Feed your mind a balanced, nourishing diet! 💪😎
Wally Amos, the cookie mogul had numerous obstacles to overcome his long road to success. 💫 “I want to tell people that if life hands them a lemon, they can turn it into lemonade.” 🍋
If you open your mind to the possibilities, objectively analyse information and refuse to allow your personal preferences and biases to influence your judgement, you will be able to perceive great truths that have been overlooked by others.
A close mind, though, will cause you to miss out on some of life’s greatest offerings.
Always keep an open mind and follow the path you choose !
It is human nature to compare ourselves with the people around us. 🤔
It can be positive if we use this to motivate us to do better and improve our lives. However if we compare ourselves constantly to others it can be very destructive and toxic.😌
Being stuck with envious feelings can ruin your life. There are ways to control envy and not to feel bad about other people’s perfect lives.
👉 Appreciate what you have. If you are grateful for your blessings, there is no room in your heart to be jealous of other people 👉 Realize that what you have isn’t a measure of who you are as a person.. Some people have a luxurious lifestyle and are not happy; some people have less but are grateful for their blessings 👉 Do not compare your worst. You may feel that life is not fair, as you see only negativity in yours; but you don’t know the struggles other people have to keep up with their lifestyle, their life might not be as perfect as you think 👉 Realize that you don’t always need what you want. Sometimes we believe that we will only be happy if we have something that we want. We don’t realize that even without these things we can be perfectly happy. 👉 Practice gratitude. If you are grateful for life’s blessings, then there is nothing in this world can make you feel less of yourself. You know that you are here with a purpose and you don’t need to compete with other people to feel good about yourself.
Remember that the only person you should be greater than is YOURSELF.🔥
