What is Your Why?

The motive behind an action is the most important piece of the story and your WHY is usually born out of pain. To make a difference in this world, you have to inspire people to join your journey. And it is the same when you want to brand yourself in any industry.

Meaning of your WHY: Fulfillment is a right and not a privilege. Finding fulfillment in life starts with understanding exactly WHY you do what we do. What is your purpose? what is your belief?  Why do you get out of bed every morning? The why has to be the result of all your effort, your way of wanting to change your life and/or people lives. You’ll make more intentional choices for your business, your career and your life. You’ll be able to inspire others to buy from you, work with you and join your cause.

Put into words your vision, write small and big goals; you want to make sure you see your vision, your why. The difference between people with success and the one unsuccessful is the decision to act in the directions of their dreams. They understand that they need to take action and have daily tasks.

If you are unclear of your why, keep a journal; write your feelings, actions and thoughts and see what makes you happy and passionate. It has to come from you, your personal thoughts and not your family’s or friend’s.

As an entrepreneur, you need to talk first about the end results of your product/service and not start with how it is going to work or what to do to get results. The difference between most entrepreneur and people that achieve better is the way we talk and present our opportunity. Usually we talk first about what we have, then how it is working and at last why they should buy it. Try by the WHY and you’ll see a much better result.

The top entrepreneurs and companies say first the Why we should buy from them. Because they have the best product/service. Once you have an audience that believe in you, you can sell them more products/service because they believe in you.

Exemple of Apple: They branded themselves as the best product that is, no matter what they do, phone – earphone- computer .. their followers want to buy it from them. They queue hours to get the latest product, and that is because these people are absolutely confident with what they buy, they trust Apple and believe on their product.

Trust and Loyalty is coming with the WHY. Clarify your personal values.

It is the same for you, believe that what you are doing is the right thing to do and people will follow you.

So First define what success means to you, then create a vivid image of you as a successful person.. Live it as if you are already there.

You don’t need to do business with people that need what you have but the goal is to do business with people that believe what YOU believe.

The Law of Diffusion of innovations is a theory that seeks to explain how, why, and at what rate new ideas and technology spread.

Innovators are pushed by desire to create something new.

Early Adopters are the people that want to be the first to get it, the pioneer to be able to talk about it … in the example of Apple, they would queue hours to get the new IPhone.

To get mass market success you need to touch the 68% of the population – early majority and late majority. However to do that you need to achieve the tipping point which is in red to achieve market penetration. Without it, you won’t be able to market your product at a high level, because the majority of people won’t believe your product is good enough and they are not going to buy it as a pioneer, they want someone else to try it first. You want to target these first people because they are believers.

Laggards are just people that makes slow decision, falls behind others.

Your followers are behind you because they believe it would suit themselves. So you want to be a leader that inspire others and not the leader that show power and authority only. You want them to follow you because they want to and not because they have to.

As an entrepreneur, once your audience believe in you and your motivation, you can try anything and they will stay by your side.

So find your WHY before you start any business and want a change in your life .. The WHY is wrapped up in emotion and stories and events in your life. You need to share your stories, and give away what you can to inspire people and then you’ll reach the tipping red point and you’ll have loyal followers.

The best ideas are the honest ones – ones born out of personal experience – ones that originated to help a few and ended up helping many” – Simon Sinek

I would love to hear your WHY.

How to develop a recruiting mindset ~ Step 7 Your beliefs

One of the most powerful single factor in your success is your belief about yourself, about the company, about your industry. Whatever you intensely believe becomes your reality.

Lack of belief is shown when blaming others for your failure, your challenges. It is never your fault, it is your upline’s fault, your company’s fault, the compensation plan is too complicated, it is binary and that is why you don’t make money in Network Marketing.  You will always find excuses !

To build and create the success you want for you and for your family, you need to change the belief in yourself, you need to find the willpower in you. Willpower is based on confidence, conviction, faith and on your ability to achieve you what you put your mind into. To develop willpower, you need to be persistent and work on your goals – reading books, listening to audio, watching some trainings. Also read some biographies of successful people or listen to their stories and  you will understand that most top earners have been through a lot before they got successful. It will inspire to push you through the obstacles and difficulties you will experience.

Too many people think that they are not good enough, not slim enough, not educate enough and the list can go on..

Your mind can be your biggest asset or your worse enemy.

“Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.” – Roy T. Bennet

Self-mastery, self-control, self-discipline are essential for anyone who wants to achieve their goals. The more you practice thinking and talking about what you desire the most and the more you will start seeing signs and people that will help you to achieve your dreams. Repeat to yourself the words, pictures and thoughts consistent with your dreams and goals. Think bigger, faster and out of the box.

Don’t create a lifestyle of mediocrity; if you want something bad , you will find a solution even if you have people around you that are negative, that don’t believe in you. Don’t get caught with what people might think.

You need to have a plan: maintain focus on your personal progress, keep a journal and write your goals, your intention, your affirmations, your gratitude. Each time you achieve a goal, even small, celebrate it to keep you motivated.

Do not compare yourself to others. You are unique, authentic and beautiful. Your followers want to do business with YOU because you are different and you share great content and bring value; they are attracted by your story and not someone else.

“Don’t compare yourself to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.” – Regina Brett

You need also to believe in your company, your product and industry. Never apologize to be part of Network Marketing. Explain to them that it is no pyramid scheme 🙂  Also very important, be the product of the product and share it to the world.

Try getting your own mantra with positive self belief words, like

  • I am fearless
  • I am a winner
  • I am a leader
  • I am an achiever

With effort and time, you can change your beliefs and develop a mental strength to overcome the self-limiting beliefs that prevent you from reaching your full potential.

Fixed Mindset Vs Growth Mindset – Think like a Top Earner!

Mindsets are beliefs about yourself and your most basics qualities, the ideas and attitudes that a person approaches a situation. You can cultivate your mindset to get better with your life and this way helping become a better marketer. Fixed mindset people believe they either are or aren’t good at doing something because it is in their nature versus Growth mindset people who believe anyone can achieve what they want if they put work and actions into it.

Even if you think it can be very difficult to overcome some adversity, if you want to achieve your dream, you need to change your mindset. It is equally important as having a marketing plan.

What makes a difference between top earners, leaders and most people is the fact they stay positive in front of adversity, challenges and doubts. They put themselves out of their comfort zone, and keep pushing into the unfamiliar to learn something new every day. They commit to master valuable skills versus sticking with their confidence; they define failure as temporary setbacks versus abandoning their project after a few hiccups.

You need to be very confident with your product and your business to show authority figure. If you half believe on what you are doing you won’t give your full potential while talking about it and your customers will sense that you are a fake.

Your inspiration and vision work will help you take your business to the next level if you are authentic and real. And changing the way you perceive yourself can dramatically improve your feelings and results.

Positive thinking is essential to your success. Believe in yourself and as I always say, everything happen for a reason. See the positive way of everything life brings to you, and you’ll see that positive outcome will follow.

Your success is measure on how you think and respond to the challenges of your most difficult moments.

It is very common that we hear all the great stories of people getting successful and famous but we never hear how they created their wealth and prosperity.Every great leader had to overcome adversity and challenges to achieve their goals. The “get rich”  fast is a myth.

Carol Dweck is a researcher at Standford University and author of the hit book: Mindset: The New Psychology of success. She shares how a simple idea about the brain can create a love of learning and a resilience that is the basis of great accomplishment in every area of work and life.

In the book’s final chapter, Carol Dweck describes the workshop she and her colleagues have developed to shifts students from a fixed to a growth mindset. There workshops demonstrate that “just learning about the growth mindset can cause a big shift in the way people think about themselves and their lives”

Small wins repeated over time can lead to a growth mindset, letting your confidence grow.

So you have a choice!!! You can either stay with your fixed mindset and be a struggling marketer or change and grow your mindset to become the leader you can be!!

Which one are you??
