There is no end to knowledge. There is no limit to what a person can learn. 😎

Treat your Network Marketing like a business, understand the principles and learn to apply what YOU need to make it work for YOU.🤗

Sometimes we can actually do too much studying and research. This can lead to procrastination and a no success.🤔

It is easy to spend all your time on theory alone and avoiding the necessary work that needs to be carried out, such as income producing activities.💰

So take massive action and ask yourself if the action that you are taking is going to get you closer to your dreams or further away from your desired outcome? 🤔

The connections you’ll make with other like-minded entrepreneurs will be priceless.

2- Attend workshops and masterminds: you need to attend the sessions where you can get detailed training. Usually they are small groups and done by the leaders of the company or other big earners. Why your Image is important, First impression matters!

Branding yourself is a must when you start building a business on social media. That is why your image is so important !! Companies come and go…but you are the one thing that will remain stable in the midst of change.

This blog is part 5 out of 7 of the series “7 things that will make a difference in your business”

When promoting on social media, you have to be mindful of the posts. Why?

  • In a few seconds, someone can form an impression on yourself so you want to show the best of you!!
  • Your social media is scrutinized when you are in network marketing, so don’t put any pictures that seemed great at the time but might bring you some trouble in the long term. Or say anything that you might be regretting in the future. That is the reason why I always say that you shouldn’t put any negativity in your posts.
  • Your reputation could be affected if someone share a picture or something and it is splashed everywhere in the media. That is why it is important you get your general account settings, timeline and tagging settings checked. I have my profile on public but I am the only one that can post on my timeline, or see the posts I have been tagged.

Remember, if it’s on the Internet, it could be there forever!

Why it is important to brand yourself?

Personal branding is essentially the ongoing process of establishing a prescribed image or impression in the mind of others. Your skills, your focus will allow them to clearly understand what you’re passionate about. You want your prospects to choose you as the only solution to their problems. You have to be unique and approachable to your audience to get results.

The way you talk and present yourself has a remarkable impact on the people you meet professionally and socially. This is why it is very important you brand yourself and not your company.

Branding demands commitment; commitment to continual re-invention; striking chords with people to stir their emotions; and commitment to imagination. It is easy to be cynical about such things, much harder to be successful.” – Sir Richard Branson

How to brand yourself:

  • Your image: your customers/followers need to know who you are. Put a picture on all your multi-media platform, they will recognize you when you do a video.
  • Use a blog: it is very important to do a blog, and put value on it. A few sentences, a picture, a little video… No need to do a book each time 🙂 , but be consistent.
  • Use social media: establish a presence, my advice at the start of your branding, choose ONE and be an expert. It can be Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest… Whatever you want to start with, be an expert before you want to jump on another one. You need to build relationship with your audience. Make sure your audience see you everyday; if you don’t have time to do a video, put a post, a picture, a quote, a blog post…Make yourself available for help and advice.
  • Maintain your integrity: market yourself with high standards and honesty, if you don’t know something, point your client to someone else, this way they will know your potentials and trust your judgement.
  • Body language also is important: Be yourself!!! Don’t try to impress anyone;  your followers want to be able to relate to someone like you, you might not attract everybody but you will attract the RIGHT audience for YOU.
  • Believe in yourself: You want to send the right message, if you don’t believe in yourself or the company you are representing, it will show.

I hope these helped you to understand why Attraction Marketing is very important and you need to brand yourself and not the company you are representing today.

Leave me a comment !!

4 Sacrifices you have to make to start your business

When you decide to start a new business, you need to make some sacrifices. Either you are already working full time and try to get your business running and quit your job, or you are a mum-at-home and try to get a business to be more independent. Whatever you are doing right now, and you decide to become your own boss, you need to change your way of living, your routine and don’t underestimate the price you would have to pay before achieving your goals.

Don’t think it in a bad way because as an entrepreneur I would encourage you to become one, as I do to my children. But you have to be aware and ready to do some sacrifices.

This blog is part 2 out of 7 of the series “7 things that will make a difference in your business”

  • Social life: If you are serious and plan to start a business, you should be prepared to sacrifice some amount of time normally spend with family and friends. Some of them will be supportive at the start but if you cancel plans to deal with business emergencies, you might find your loved one getting frustrated. So talk to your family, spouse, and close friends and reassure them that it would be for a short period of time and you are doing it for them. Don’t launch a new company during times of great stress or life adjustment because you might feel too overwhelmed… you can wait a little bit longer when you feel ready! People around you will have to understand that you have one priority at that time, and it is to launch your business  !

  • Salary: When you start a new business, you have to remember that you are not going to become rich the next day you leave your job… So think about your financial situation before you take drastic engagement. Talk to your partner/spouse or parents and ask them if they would be ready to help you out for a few months if you don’t have any savings… or if you have some, make sure you give yourself enough time. You need to invest in your education, in your product, and the start up of a company is usually quite expensive. As an entrepreneur myself with my own skincare brand, i needed to pay for the stock, labelling, e-commerce platform, time spent to build the website, etc… I think you see the point. If you’re not prepared to sacrifice your salary for at least a few years, then entrepreneurship may not be for you. As soon as you’ll get some profits, you will need to reinvest in your business to continue growing..
  • Balance: There will be many times when you feel like you are sacrificing your mental sanity. People will call you crazy, obsessed, etc.. and you might lose some friends or family members in the process. Stay away from toxic people and stay focus. But you need some balance in your life, you can’t work 24/7 or you’ll lose your mind, your health. Take some time to go to the gym, do some meditation, eat healthy and take some vitamins. Being on caffeine boost is not going to help. As an entrepreneur you’ll think about your business all the time, you won’t have a day off where you can chill out and forget about everything. While all those long hours are crucial, it’s very common for a start-up entrepreneur to suffer health issue due to sleep deprivation and a lack of medical attention.

“The consistency in your person from home to work is vitally important so that you are in total balance at all times. Being out of balance means that your true self will start to be confused with what you pretend to be.” Catherine Pulsifer

  • Limitation: If you are a person who love being in control with everything, you might find some challenges to grow your business; when you have an idea and want to launch something big, you can’t keep everything to yourself and work on your own. You need to get help from others or you’ll lose your mind. Even the hardest workers can only accomplish so many tasks in a single day. Try to surround yourself with like-minded people, share your ideas and they’ll help you if they can or they’ll show you the way to improve and get better. Allocate some tasks to someone more qualified than you so you won’t waste time and get frustrated in the process.

There is a time to make sacrifices and a time to reap the harvest of your labour, so don’t give up on your dreams because hard work pays off.

Hope this will help you stay focus in your business, if you have any other tips, would love to hear. Leave me a comment!

10 ways of commitment in business

When you start a new business, a new relationship, a new hobby,… you cannot assume it is going to be a few months commitment. You need to see it as a 2 to 5 years business commitment, and no matter what happened if you have a good plan and it is well prepared, never ever give up. Keep working hard and you’ll be rewarded!

This blog is part 1/7 of the series “7 things that will make a difference in your business”

Here are the 10 points you have to follow to keep your motivation and commit to any new business/relationship:

  • See the positive on each action: Focus on solutions and not on the problems. Allow no space in your mind for negative thoughts. Keep positive at all times
  • Risk taken: Don’t let your fear become a barrier in your career. To be successful you need to take risks and start getting out of your comfort zone. View each “no” or challenges as a motivator and opportunity to become a better entrepreneur.
  • Work hard: Think and trust that your hard work will generate profits. It won’t be done in a month, or 4 or 5 but eventually your hard work will pay off. Focus on your goals every single day and do the work. You will get rewarded and money will come
  • Visualize: don’t set small goals and stop once you achieved them. Think BIG! At the start plan small goals, reward yourself when you reach them but don’t stop at it… move to a higher goal until you achieve your dream goal. Commit your thoughts to anticipating more achievement.
  • Be consistent: You need to be consistent, patient and flexible to climb the ladder of success. Even if you are not reaping the benefits right away work hard and don’t let anything or anyone doubt you!
  • Be passionate: passion is the fuel that ignites your desire to work hard. When you are passionate you fear no limits and work harder and your audience feel your passion and will automatically follow you.

  • Respect: Maintain your self-respect and respect also people you work with. Be grateful and do your daily routine to stay focus and keep your motivation and your “WHY”. When you tell your audience/followers you are going to do something, follow up. Don’t think you are going to do it tomorrow… today is the day!
  • Keep things in balance: you need to delegate some tasks or turn to people who have more time, more qualified for the task. You cannot do everything yourself!! If you spend too much time on a task that can easily be done by someone, don’t hesitate to delegate.
  • Relationship: you need to nurture your relation with people around you. Decide wisely who you want to work with, choose like-minded people and stay away from toxic people. When you meet the right partner, talk about your vision, your passion and your goals. You would be surprised how you can meet your best customer, your best follower, your best partner.
  • Feedback: Don’t believe as if you know everything. Each feedback, training, critics is a step forward to your goals. Keep an open mind and make new decisions if needed. To grow your business your have to grow yourself, your self development. Be open to new opportunities.

Hope this will help you stay focus in your business, if you have any other tips, would love to hear. Leave me a comment!

The Top 10 Engaging Posts

How to create a thriving social media posting plan for maximum profits

Grow – Engage – Promote

If you start promoting your business without engaging with your audience, you won’t build a long term business. I am going to give you some examples of top engaging posts. If you want to spread even more your chance of getting more people, you can boost your post from your Business Page.

It’s important to understand that there will be a learning curve to network marketing online. But that’s how it is with anything new, and it will be well worth your time and effort. Remember to set a strategy in place and maintain consistency with your social media posts.

Engagement can be defined by a Like, Share and Comment. Make posts that don’t contain links, but have all of the content housed within the post – including images, video and text. Network marketing online, when done right, gets prospects coming to YOU asking about your business.

Here are 10 post ideas that will help you build relationship with your audience and get more engagement:

1- Questions

This type of post encourages people to think about how they would act or what they would do in certain situations. It’s a fun way for people to use their imagination and engage with your posts in a friendly manner. Choose issues and situations that your target market is likely to run into. Nostalgia also is a great way to engage people

  • What do you think ….. is the #1 reason….
  • What’s your favorite way to …. (you can judge what would be working best for your business)
  • When I have a job interview coming up, I ______
  • Which training would help you more ….
  • Remember when you had to actually remember your friend’s phone numbers?
  • Just curious, who’s on twitter these days – send the training to the leads
  • If I showed you …   Comment below
  • If I had an unlimited marketing budget, I would ________

2- Opinions

  • In your opinion, what makes someone successful with ….
  • Need your feedback; Which logo/picture/dress ….. do you like best
  • Which one drives most people? …. or …..

When you send these types of posts, you need also to be ready for people’s opinion. While a friend/follower tell you what they think, it’s important that you listen to what they have say and actually hear it, you can use paraphrase in your own words so your follower knows you’re listening and absorbing the information.

3- Inspiration

Daily Quotes can be a source of inspiration and empowerment, that is a proven fact. One of the most common post types you see when looking through social media pages is inspirational quote posts. You can use diverse way to show your audience.

  • Motivational images, quotes, audios
  • Inspiring videos – go to Youtube (Les Brown, Tony Robbins, …)
  • Inspiring articles (success magazine, Forbes, your own blog post)

Pictures are worth a thousand words, and when it comes to generating engagement, you want to take full advantage of every chance to communicate your message.

4- Vulnerability

People are hungry for vulnerability, authenticity, consistency. If something is up in your life and you can’t be online for example, share it with your audience. By being more vulnerable and opening up about your struggles, you begin to create a community of people who struggle with the same things, and you start to build a support network or by you sharing a troubling moment in your life or a certain challenge, you’re opening a door for others to connect with you

5- Straight talk/rant

Your talk/rant should be a teachable moment. Don’t put any negativity, it has to be inspiring too. Avoid talking about politics and religion. You don’t want your timeline to be a debate.

6- Fill in the blank

This type of post gets people thinking about upcoming events and times and if executed right, you can use it to give an idea of what your product is about. This will push people to suggest the types of products they like to use that you sell.

Best example: Take JetBlue. The airline experimented with fill in the blank status updates as part of their Facebook content strategy. Over a six-week period, JetBlue incorporated a fill in the blank post every 7-10 days like the one that appeared on March 26 and coincided with the release of The Hunger Games: If your city could be any district, it would be ______________. May the odds be ever in your favor.

  • Freedom to me means ….
  • The first thing I do  in the morning is ….
  • …… inspires me
  • The best thing I ever did in my life was ….

See some examples HERE

7- Lifestyle/curiosity

Put something about yourself, your family. Your audience want to see who you are, not only a network marketer working long hours, but a normal human being 🙂

Share a story or experience that people can identify with and then end with a question that prompts them to want to ask how they can achieve or attain the end goal of what it is that you are promoting. Stories express things in simple terms that people are already familiar with and can easily relate to.

8- Caption a photo

This is fun and simple post that is 90% visual and 10% text. Find a funny pic, and ask you audience to leave a commentary:

“Caption this!! I challenge you to give me the best caption for this photo!! “

A great place to find photos for this is the Reddit “sub-reddit” /r/pics. The photos at the top with the most votes already have proven their power to engage people, so they’re usually a good choice.

9- Announcement post

Before making a big announcement, get creative with a series of social media posts to build anticipation. Send a post when you have a new training, a new webinar and try to get a pictures with all the people in the room once you do your training. Zoom calls are great for that.

Your audience will see how many people are interested to your training and they might also know someone which will give you more exposure.

10- What’s HOT!

This is why it is very important you are always training yourself to know what is happening in the Network Marketing industry, what is happening with social media. The algorithm is changing all the time and if you don’t follow up, you might lose some time.

The industry and market are changing over time. The whole environment is changing over time. So, the business will need to change themselves over time. Because of that, you as an entrepreneur will need to follow trends related to your business.

Share, like, comment if you got value or if you have another idea for engaging post

What You Need to Do to Change Your Life

Many people want to change something in their lives but they think they are too old, or they don’t have the competence to do it!! Well you are VERY WRONG!! You can change everything you want in your life if you really want it!! Work your way towards major changes.

See below the few tips I used to change My Life

1- You have to change your situation, even the smallest changes will make a difference. Go step by step.

  • Change your routine and ask this question; will it help me to get where I want to go? Examine what brought you in your actual situation and what you want to change. Determine whether or not your lifestyle is aligned with your personal values.
  • Get out of your confort zone; for things to change you need to get better. If you are not willing to push yourself and get better, you won’t be able to move forward
  • Consistency is key. We always say it takes 21 days to change your habits

2- Change your attitude

  • This is very important you change your mindset. Leave the past in the past and get focus on your goal.
  • Be positive and get rid off the negativity around you. Toxic people will bring you down and won’t see what you are looking for. It has to be the same with you, don’t critic people, gossip and always see the positive on your relationship
  • Don’t compare yourself with others. Nobody’s life is perfect, no matter how it may seem on the outside. You are unique and different.

3- Personal Growth

  • Assess your skills and qualities, consider your aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximise your potential.
  • Before you can believe in a goal, you first must have an idea of what it looks like. Visualise them. See the end results and how to get it done step by step
  • Make a plan and get the training you need to achieve your goal. You will be in control of your life.

4- Attract the right people and get success

  • Success doesn’t happen overnight and if you focus and surround yourself with the right people, it will go easier. We are the average of the 5 people we have around us! Think about it!
  • You need to become more attractive in business and everything else will start falling into place. People will be attracted to you. You will attract success instead of having to pursue success.
  • Use the SMART method, Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely.

5- Never give up

  • Learn all the time new skills and execute your plans. It might be painful at times but remember your WHY you want to make a change in your life.
  • In time you might feel you can’t do it, take a break, reassess your goals and continue your chosen path.
  • Patience and hard work are keys, but it will be so rewarding!!! Don’t give up!!!

In summary,  we all have bad days or bad weeks and it’s ok. It doesn’t mean it is the end. Pull yourself together, re-connect with your motivation and keep working.

Unfortunately, many of us remain stuck at the goal stage. We start out with good intentions and perhaps a plan, but then we can’t seem to make it happen.

But I believe in you and I know you can do it!!!

Kathy

What it takes to be an entrepreneur?

You have some ideas? You talk about it for days? And then what? You might share your ideas with your family and friends ! You might get some people telling you that it is a great idea and some that might think you can’t do it! So which one are you going to listen? Not everybody has entrepreneurship in them and most people will just let go of their ideas, their dreams because they are listening too much of what others say!

However if you are a real entrepreneur you will listen to the positive person. You will believe in yourself. It’s not easy to leave aside the naysayers, the doubters because we were taught for a long time how to behave, and what we should do in the society. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur,   you need to do your own thing, try to be different and stand out. Without that mentality you will always be confronted to the negative people and they’ll eventually win.

It is not easy to start a new business, but execution is everything for startups. You need to care and be passionate of what you are doing, I always talk about it because it is the fuel that will help you when you start doubting about yourself. You need to understand that your idea and your goal, project has to be more than money. You need to start working on your self-development to keep this passion. Self development is so important because you will change your mindset and learn more about your capabilities

Entrepreneurs also learn about their business constantly and go with what works. They explore around their industry and adjust. Warren Buffett spend 80% of his day reading about what matters in his industry, he is aware of what’s going on and learn something new all the time.

You have to plan, and go slowly because it is full of set backs and stress when you start with this great idea, but if you have the desire and the initiative that it is something that suits you and it is going to work then you can be an entrepreneur.

A good entrepreneur will get over failure and learn by it, not giving up or listening to this little voice saying it’s not for you. He will look for the lesson of each challenging situations.

“Work harder on yourself than you do on your job” Jim Rohn

Handling risk also is a traits of entrepreneurship. If you like being in your comfort zone, work little and having your weekend away , then you can’t be an entrepreneur because it takes dedication, consistency and perseverance.

You need to be confident also on your product/service and also on yourself, know your strengths and weaknesses and don’t be afraid to delegate what you don’t know. It will be a waste of your valuable time to try to do everything.

Habits creates your results, get into a routine and stick to it. Evaluates  If you are easy led to do something else that has nothing to do with your business then maybe rethink your choice of being an entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurs need to get organized, so check your personal attributes and evaluates what you like and dislike.

And the last traits, be honest with yourself. Don’t start with a business if you don’t have a clue how to start, what to do or even not ready to make sacrifices, Dreams can cost a lot of money!! Set goals and self evaluate yourself!

The leaders and the free thinkers are the ones that excel in business while the followers and copycats fail !
