Reiki

What is reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It’s a simple, safe and natural method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that anyone can use. It’s a form of alternate medication called “energy healing”.

Reiki is made up of 2 Japanese words, Rei- Gods wisdom or the higher power and ki- life force energy, it’s a spiritually guided life force.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating beneficial effects like relaxation, security and wellbeing. The technique to learn reiki is not taught but transferred to the student by the instructor. It is passed during an attunement given by a reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy”.

A little history

Reiki was rediscovered in the mid 1800’s by a Japanese born buddhist monk, Dr Mikao Usui. While teaching in a college Dr Usui was asked “How Jesus facilitated the healing miracles that he performed?”. The question sparked Dr Usui’s interest and set him out on a path for an answer. He was determined to learn the secret miracle healing so he may aid others on his journey which took him too many countries. On his journey a great spiritual energy came down and enlightened Dr Usui, the energy also brought Reiki Ryoho (the ability to heal). To Usui reiki was a spiritual practice, an opportunity for anyone to awaken their true nature. He taught Reiki Ryoho to many people and adjusted his teaching to each person.

Reiki Symbols

Traditionally there are three main symbols in the Usui Reiki healing system. On paper these symbols are flat, two dimensional but they are actually multidimensional. You draw these symbols in the air, with your hand or fingers. It’s up to you, everyone is different. Usui used the symbols as a way of grounding and centering for his students.

  1. The Power Symbol- Cho Ku Rei symbol

Some practitioners like to draw the symbols clockwise, instead of counterclockwise. It is up to you, both are equally valid and powerful. This symbol is very powerful and usually drawn in three strokes. It is for empowering, cleansing and protecting.

  1. The Mental/Emotional (Harmony) Symbol– Sei Hei Ki symbol

This symbol is drawn with 9 strokes and its main purpose is to bring emotional balance, peace and harmony. It helps to balance the left and right brain hemisphere.

  1. The Distant/Connection Symbol– Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen symbol

It is called a Connection symbol because it goes beyond space and time, it connects everything across the universe. It is used for Distant healing, by sending reiki to someone who lives on the other side of the world from you. You can also send reiki to yourself in the future where you know you could use the help, like a surgery. You can also heal past traumas, relationships and emotional/spiritual effects of past events.

4. Reiki Master Symbol– Dai Ko Myo symbol

Also known as “all purpose healing” symbol and “empowerment” symbol. Its intention is enlightenment and also helps heal our karma.. It is the symbol that heals the healers by combining the power of the harmony, power and distance symbols. The symbol is used by reiki masters only when attuning intentions.

Master symbol is not included with the three main symbols in The Usui Reiki healing system but is still used by reiki masters and is still as powerful as the other symbols.

I hope it clarifies what Reiki is and if you want to make an appointment, just reach out to me. The session can last between 60 min to 90 min.

Money has NO Character

🔥 Money has no character
🔥 Money has no personality
🔥 Money has no values

👉 Money can build hospitals but also can be gambled away
👉 Money can construct or can be used for destruction

As you build your personal wealth make sure you build your character by setting aside the portion of your income to help others. 😎
It doesn’t have to be a huge amount, even a cup of coffee to the person in need will be received with gratitude 😊

The primary beneficiary of such noble actions is always the one who gives, not the one who receives. 😎💪

If you follow me for a while, you know that my goal is having an animal shelter in Jamaica. It’s killing me to see so many stray animals on the street but 4 dogs and 5 cats are enough in our home for the moment! 😉

So what is your aim to help your community?

What is retargeting pixels and tracking?

Retargeting pixel is 3 times more effective for your marketing and get a higher Return On Investment (ROI) than most other digital channels.

It is a form of online advertising that all your bounced traffic will be able to see even if they didn’t buy anything from you and left your website. It targets your audience that didn’t convert right away, they will be able to see your ad when they will surf the web later. That is when the ad might recapture their interests and decide to buy from you.

How it works?

It is a piece of code that you place on your website (called a pixel). It is unnoticeable to your visitors and doesn’t affect your site’s performance. Each time a new visitor comes to your website, the code trigger a cookie which is a text file that stores information about the user’s session. This way you are getting a virtual list of customers, whom didn’t fill any form or bought anything and can easily retarget them without them noticing it. Your ad will appear on their browser.

If you are not aware about it and it is the first time you hear about pixels and retargeting, I am going to give you an example. When you shop on Amazon or any other sites and you don’t buy anything, did you notice that when you log on to your Facebook profile, you can see the ad you were looking at on your page. That is called retargeting, the company website is tracking you and want you to buy their product, so they show you the ad again and again.

Tracking pixel can be applied to your business and it is a great tool, as it is very low in cost and can cover a large demographic area. You will be able to observe your followers behaviors:

  • What page they visited?
  • How long they stayed on your page?
  • What did they search for?
  • Which blog has more views
  • Which campaign has more views and so on…

Your visitors might have left your website because someone came at the door, or they were late for an appointment, or the baby was crying and not by lack of interest. That is when tracking pixel comes handy and appear on their browser to remind them your ads or website.

pixel-3

People are on Facebook to connect, share and be entertained so you need to get the right ad to target as many people as you can. On average someone has to see something 7 times before making a decision.

In Summary, you need to have the targeting pixel on your website because if you don’t, you are wasting money. This tracking will impact everything you are doing and will definitely bring you more customers. You will get valuable data including better ad targeting because you will be able to compare how many people visited your website versus how many customers purchased something. You can track how many leads or sales were generated from a particular ad. All these information are valuable to get your marketing strategy on point.

Leave me a comment and see you to another blog where I am going to explain how to do the Tracking pixel and how to promote it on Facebook

The importance of having an Autoresponder!

Having an Autoresponder is one of the most important thing you need to have to build your business online. I personally use aweber and very happy with it.

What is an Autoresponder?

An Autoresponder sends a series of emails automatically. You can preschedule some and you can do a broadcast from time to time to your list.

When someone subscribe to your list, you should have a welcome email, and then receive the next email the next day or 2 days after, and so on… You can decide the order of your email and frequency.

The benefit of having an Autoresponder is that you won’t need to manually send email to each subscriber. It is done automatically in a follow up sequence.

Email has an ability many channels don’t: creating valuable, personal touches – at scale.

David Newman

Why is it so important to have an Autoresponder?

1- You are providing value to your list and because it is on “autopilot”, even when you are away or asleep, these emails are send and you might get some sales done.

2- You can personalized the emails and address prospects. This gives a personal touch and your subscribers will feel compelled to read your emails.

3- You can send your different offers and keep track on the views for your website. Once visitor has subscribed to your autoresponder you can continue to send emails infinitely until they say to stop.

Benefits:

  • When people you don’t know visit your website for the first time, and they subscribe to your newsletter or one of your campaign, your goal is to keep them attracted to your emails. Copywriting is very important (check my blog).
  • You can give them a trial offer, or a free report, or 30 min free consultation.
  • You can build a long term relationship with subscribers with very little effort because everything is automated.
  • You can send them different campaign, different company if you have multiple stream of income
  • Follow-up is done perfectly, you won’t miss a single customer, prospect.
  • People who like doing business with you and buy your product/service, will be happy to purchase something new because they trust you, having build this relationship
  • You can send to your subscribers a message to direct them to your blog, or ECommerce, or website. You can use a link directly on your email so they don’t need to do anything manually.
  • You can see where your list is located, which messages directed them to your autoresponder and which email has more views. You can then judge what type of email they prefer best and format future messages
  • It is a way to brand yourself, or the company. You can add a logo, your tagline, your signature, a picture. You can personalize the way you want.

Treat your subject line like the movie trailer – give a preview so they know what to expect
