How to make Good Copywriting for your Email List?

As I said in my previous blog, Autoresponder is very important to build relationship with your list. You need a good copywriting to attract the right people to you and your business.

What is copywriting: according to Wikipedia, it is written content conveyed through online media and print materials. Copy is content primarily used for the purpose of advertising or marketing. This type of written material is often used to persuade a person or group as well as to raise brand awareness.

What is copywriting in Network Marketing: It means Money!! Especially in your Email List

You can spend  a lot of time writing an email to your list, if you don’t have a catchy Headline, your subscribers are not going to read it! You are the same, you only open an email that appeal to you!

You need to write like you talk because your  list might follow you on Facebook or Instagram and they know how you are. They see your videos, your post and they are attracted to you and not a script!!

Your job is to put eyeball to your  list about what you want to show them. Don’t take the topic head on, ask yourself why it matters. Find a larger story happening behind your message, draw a connection between your product/service and the experience your reader is going to get.

Be funny and interesting, you want to make your subscriber to continue reading your email until the end. Your audience need to trust you with each message while adding value each time. Become a great teacher that will help them find a solution of their problem. You can share a story of yourself, you can share a story of a top earner, it needs to be interesting every time you send an email. You can open a conversation inviting your subscribers to respond to your emails, or follow you on your website where they could give you their opinions. You can also write a success story from time to time from one of your client or your mentor. Offer them a quick tip they can implement straight away which will bring them great value to their business.

Stories sells so tell your audience your point of view, why you like the product? Put your link at the end of your email and if possible put a time limit: “I know it is short notice so I don’t know if you are free….”

What to avoid:

  • Don’t stop sending any other emails after the welcome message or wait too long for another email. Keep 2 days maximum in between the 2 first message. Prepare at least 5 messages to be send in 10 days.
  • Don’t send multiple messages in one day, if you have a newsletter as well, avoid to send it the same day
  • Don’t put any negativity in your email, or overshare your life. It is not a therapy session and it might frighten your audience.
  • Don’t sell something new in each email, your audience is going to be confused and you are not showing sign of credibility.
